Founded by Jelena Petrovic in 2006, Smartbody Pilates Studio specializes in high quality Pilates instruction for individuals and small groups and  enthusiastically brings to the Amsterdam market the American-born, full-service Pilates studio model.

Equipped with the best Pilates equipment on the international market and featuring everything from group classes to private coaching to a Teacher Certification program (starting in September 2008), Smartbody offers the discerning and sophisticated client a chance to experience personalized service, care and true quality in their Pilates training. 

About Jelena Petrovic:

Raised and educated on three different continents (Europe, North America and Africa), Jelena has been professionally involved with dance and fitness since 1995.  She holds a university degree in dance from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and has been certified to teach Pilates by Ellie Herman, San Francisco Pilates authority, author of numerous books and inventor of the Pilates Springboard.  Jelena has been teaching Pilates since 1999 in various studios throughout the United States. She has been living and teaching in Amsterdam since 2000.
